6 weeks January 7, 14, 28, February 4, 11, 18 (no class on January 21)
Instructor: Verena Chase, Coast Kids Program Director.
This class covers a series of hand-on science experiments for homeschooled students. In the winter session, we will add three new classes to the curriculum and repeat the three most exciting classes from last winter. If your homeschooler is interested in learning about atoms and molecules, where to find bacteria (and how to avoid them!), or challenge their engineering skills, please join this class. Other topics will be electricity, plankton and bay food web, and candy science class. Parents are welcome (though not required) to stay during the class. Fall, winter, and spring classes all have different topics for a total of 18 different experiments each year.
