It’s the winter months, so we will be focusing this session on soups, stews, and muffins! Students will learn basic recipes for each, and also learn about substitutions as they create meals that they will sample and then donate to our homeless shelter, Diakonia. We will feature vegetarian options as well as options with meat. We hope to give the students an opportunity to experience the benefits of giving to their community.
**If your child has a food allergy, please communicate this to the instructor prior to the first class as recipes can be adjusted.
