Instructor: Anna Trattner Anna Trattner just recently graduated from the University of Tampa with a BA in Applied Dance (dance education). She began dancing at the age of 4 and has been trained in a variety of styles including ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, contemporary, hip-hop, musical theater, improvisation, lyrical and modern. She competed in regional and national dance competitions for 8 years where her team won multiple titles at both levels. She also worked as a character and performer at western theme park Frontier Town. While in college, Anna studied the brain-compatible teaching methods of Anne Green Gilbert and she had the opportunity to perform and choreograph for a variety of campus and community events. She also became a part of the National Dance Educators Organization and was able to attend conventions with other dancers and teachers from all over the United States. Since earning her degree, she has been teaching a variety of classes with a Tampa-based company called Creative Movement and Dance before moving back home to Ocean City. Anna is excited to share her love of dance and her passion for teaching with the students at Red Doors. APPROPRIATE DANCE ATTIRE: Tap shoes
