The Red Doors Community Center welcomes locals and visitors! We offer an ever-changing slate of classes and workshops, but we specialize in performing arts and STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) programs for children.
In December and April we present showcase performances for our dance, voice, and theatre students at the Ocean City Performing Arts Center in the convention center on 41st street. In Summer 2017 the church campus is an active construction zone so are offering a minimal selection of programs, including Sea School, surf workshops, Worcester County Reach for the Stars STEM Camp, and Free Yoga.
The Red Doors Community Center has a fantastic new location for all of our classes. We are at 10959 Worcester Highway, Berlin, MD. There is plenty of parking available!
The Red Doors is an nonprofit outreach of St. Paul’s by-The-Sea. Since the middle ages, a red door has indicated sanctuary and welcome. The Red Doors welcomes everyone, as does St. Paul's by-the-Sea Episcopal Church. Red Doors programs are designed for people of all faiths or no faith. If any program is of a religious nature, it will be made evident in the program description. We believe that God made humans to be creative and inquisitive beings. We think, we communicate, we build, we write, we dance, we experiment, we draw, we sing, we explore, we imagine. The Red Doors offers opportunities for children and adults to do those things together in a community, developing and honoring our gifts and talents.
Our program facilitators and partners are independent contractors who are excited to share their expertise and passion. The following list includes current instructors as well as instructors who may be returning in an upcoming session. Want to join us? Email email@example.com.
